About Me - Greg Kapka

After drawing for most of my childhood, I became disillusioned with art after several memorably sour relationships with art teachers at secondary school, college and university.

Only after discovering the private studio of Mark Beavan in Nottingham, and taking life drawing lessons under his tuition did I begin to gain the abilities I needed in order to paint full time.

Upon moving to Lincoln, I decided to acquire and furnish a studio for not only my own work, but to run the same sort of courses and workshops that I found so invaluable in my own learning.

My aim is provide the sort of facilities and art tuition that is sadly becoming more and more difficult to find.
